Megan & David║Indianapolis Engagement

Tim's brother and fiance Megan were in town for our Gallery grand opening. The next day we got to spend a little more time together and do a mini session around Broad Ripple (it was so chilly that Saturday). These lovebirds are counting down the days until they wed, July 3rd! Clearly, Tim and I are so excited for you both.

Courtney & David ║ Engagement ║ Downtown Indianapolis

The night before Courtney graduated from IUPUI, we hit the streets of Downtown Indianapolis for their engagement session. David recently started his first job post college down in Lexington, Kentucky, where they will make their home after the wedding in July. Unfortunately a front was moving through and it was unseasonably cold and sprinkles threatened. They were such troopers though! They wanted to remember the city that had been home while they met and were dating at IUPUI. Soon they will be tying the knot at the Omni downtown.

Courtney, congrats on your graduation. Exciting things are ahead for you and David.

Amber & Kyle║Terre Haute, Indiana Wedding

Amber and Kyle have been together through many stages of life; finishing high school, both attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and recently celebrating Amber finishing med school. As they enter this new stage in life, it was the perfect time to share their vows in front of family and friends.

As Amber finished getting ready to head to the church, the rain showers rolled in. When we got to the White Chapel, the door was locked and the florists were standing under the awning with her beautiful green and white flowers. Luckily, campus security came to our rescue!

Interesting start to a wedding day, but the rest of the day was full of family, hugs, laughs and a glow between Amber and Kyle. Their personal vows to each other brought quite a few tears amongst their guests. In light of the rain, we blew the bubbles inside the church, which proved to be fun for all.

The reception was at the historic Stables Steakhouse. The food was some of the best I've ever had at a wedding, and trust me, I've had a lot of wedding food! To top it off, Bette from Teirs of Elegance made a delicious lemon cake with raspberry filling. Danny at Elite Beat DJ's kept the party going into the night.

I loved how personal they made their day, and how obvious it was that they adore and respect each other. They are enjoying their last few days in sunny Mexico. Congrats you two!
