Engagement Guest Book
It's the season for engagement sessions. It's warm and beautiful. Love is in the air. One of my newer products that is getting quite popular is the custom engagement guest book. It's really a great way to showcase your engagement pictures and have a guest book that's more meaningful than just names written on a line. It's a hard cover book with your choice of a photo cover or black leather and thick lay flat pages that are great for signing on with a sharpie or pen.

Megelaine Images Documentary
As Megelaine Images has continued to grow over the years, I have developed a particular style of photography and way of interacting with my Brides. Sometimes it has been difficult to to fully express a Bride's experience, until now. Take a look at this short documentary video that will give you a good feel for who I am and what working with me is like. Don't forget to leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
Sushi Night
Although I am not a sushi fan at all, my husband Tim and his brother David sure are. So for David's birthday Tim had a sushi making party for the two of them. Tim's experience is limited to a class he took at the Conrad through Indy Hub, but he seemed to retain what he learned there. Even though I didn't eat any of it, I can say it was very pretty and they sure had a good time. Feel inspired to get creative in your kitchen!

Emily and Dave
They crossed each other's path at the YMCA. They learned they had a common passion for music and the Lord. It was a matter of time until they would become a couple. Emily and Dave are friends of ours and we were out double dating downtown. I had brought my camera in hopes of scouting some great light at the end of the night. These are a few sweet test shots from our adventures that night. As a side note, I don't usually even bring my camera on outings with friends, this was an exception.

Heather + Daren : Engaged
I met Heather way back when we were attending Hoosier Girls State at ISU before our senior years of high school. We both became Sycamores that next year and would run into each other on campus. Lucky me, she kept me in mind when she got engaged to Daren and began planning a fall wedding. Their story isn't unusual, meeting through friends. Sometimes it's the ordinary things that lead us into something extraordinary. They make each other smile non-stop. Heather has the cutest laugh. I am looking forward to documenting their special day this fall in an orchard!
Welcome Baby Shepard!
On May 30th, Christy and Adam welcomed their first little one into the world, Jackson Wayne.
He is just perfect. Christy is good friend of mine and I've watched as she's been through what seemed like a forever long pregnancy. It was so wonderful to finally meet who had been growing inside her! Lots of changing have been happening for this couple as just this week they celebrated their first anniversary and her birthday. I'm so excited to watch this little one grow up. He's already so well loved by lots of people. Congrats to the new parents and Happy Anniversary!

Carrie + Michael : Wedding
What a wonderful wedding! Great weather, great couple, great family and friends, great venue and every detail thought of. I've known Carrie since back in 2002 when she became my little sis in Sigma Kappa. Many fun memories have transpired since then. Carrie and Michael just finished up rotations for med school through IU. So in the midst of moving to Alabama to start their residencies this was the perfect opportunity to get married. How Carrie managed to plan all of this wedding while doing rotations, still a bit of a mystery, but I'm sure her mom and sister helped quite a bit.
In the morning the ladies got glammed up at Urban Euphoria down in Greenwood. Back at the church Our Lady of Greenwood, the guys and gals got ready. Carrie and Michael opted to do a first look and get most of the pictures done before the ceremony. It really allowed for the rest of the day to be much more relaxed. After the full mass wedding, they headed downtown for the reception and some fun pictures at the circle. It was so gorgeous downtown! We walked from the circle to the Sheraton in time for them to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests. (a sweet perk of seeing each other before) The reception room was beautiful as was the view from the Panorama Ballroom. As day turned to evening, everyone enjoyed celebrating with the newlyweds. Several out of town guests were at the wedding, including Carrie's aunt from Poland. A good sign that people were enjoying themselves is when it's midnight, everyone is tired but not eager to leave the dance floor even when the music is off and the lights are on!
Carrie and Michael honeymooned in sunny Mexico in all-inclusive relaxation style. Just yesterday they started orientation for residency, talk about a whirlwind of life changes. I can't say much more other than Tim and I truely admire this couple and are honored to call them friends. I can't be more happy for Carrie about finding such a great guy like Michael to spend her life with. All of our love and best wishes. We look forward to an Alabama visit in the future!
