The Murray Crew

A few weeks back I had the task of photographing 4 cuties on their first birthday. Their mom Jen has an awesome blog that follows the crazy and blessed life of raising quad boys. Best Wishes!

I wanted to send a little shout out to my cousin Teresa as she leaves Saturday to serve with the Peace Corps in Moldova. For those who don't know, I surely didn't before, Moldova is squeezed in between the Ukraine and Romania. (Fun fact I photographed a couple from the Ukraine in 2006!)

I totally admire Teresa's courage in following her heart for the two year adventure that's ahead. Along with the rest of the family I send her my best wishes, prayers and love.

She Said Yes!

Our friends Brian and Tiffany got engaged on Valentine's Day and I was fortunate enough to be there to capture the whole thing! I am just now posting, because the pictures of the proposal were a surprise to Tiffany. The pictures say it all. Too cute. Congrats lovebirds!

PUG Night Shoot

Tomorrow is the monthly PUG meeting, where a bunch of us photographers get together and share ideas and keep up with what's going on with photography and each other. I always look forward to our meetings. Last month we did a night shoot downtown on the circle. I was working with an awesome model Sarah. This was actually Sarah's first professional photo shoot and I think she did pretty good. Here are some of the shots from that freezing cold January night!

Summit

Tim and I aren't really conference junkies, but it just so happens that 2 out of the 3 that we usually help out at were back to back. This weekend we were downtown at the Sheraton, where Intervarsity held it's Summit, a conference for college students in Indiana. Tim was on the superstar worship team that included his brother David rocking out the drums. David broke multiple sticks over the weekend! I had my first experience video taping an event Saturday and went back to the comfort zone of my camera Sunday. Here's a few to share from Sunday.

Greek IV

I'm back in the office today after a great weekend spent downtown volunteering for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship's Greek Conference. It was such an encouragement to see 600ish Greek students from all over come together to deepen and renew their walks with the Lord. You can check about more about this ministry at http://www.intervarsity.org/greek/conference/indy/. Tim is a PIKE and I am a Sigma Kappa, so this conference is near to our hearts. Sorry, no photos for this post, I decided to have a camera free weekend!
