Indy A-List

For the second year I have been nominated for theindychannel.com's A-list! Much love to the great clients who have already voted for me as best wedding photographer and left a review. As many of you know, my business is built on word of mouth advertising and this is a great way for you to share your experience with other potential brides and grooms. There are so many wonderful couples out there that deserve amazing wedding pictures and personal service. Please take a minute to cast a vote for yours truly. (tell your wedding party and family too!) I appreciate so much all the opportunities I've been given and great people I've met along the way.

Thanks guys!

Christy & Adam- Married!

What a gorgeous wedding day! Last Saturday (the 14th) Adam and Christy were married at the Broadmoor Country Club here in Indy. The day started at Belladonna Salon in Broad Ripple with Amber and Kevin working their magic. At the club, the ladies finished primping before a few pre-ceremony pictures on the grounds. At the driving range, they guys had fun trying out some new Cobra clubs in tuxes. In the midst of sunshine, blues skies, friends and family Christy walked down the aisle to meet her groom. After a sweet ceremony, with some teary eyed special readings, the newest Mr. and Mrs. walked down the aisle as butterflies were released. After a cocktail hour the reception was kicked off with a slide show and dinner. A few teary dances and toasts later, the party kicked off and the dance floor was full the rest of the night. It was special for me to capture this day, as Christy has become a dear friend over the past year or so. It was also very special to have our entire house church there to celebrate the day with her and Adam. Best wishes for this new and exciting chapter in your lives together!

A favorite.

Baby Kaytlin

For mother's day, my cousin Aimee got a mommy and me photo session done. They live out in Ladoga, so I made the little road trip out there for the shoot. Those of you who have followed the blog for a while might remember some of the images I took of Kaytlin when she was only 4 hours old back in December. She is growing, well-loved and all smiles. Here's the little cutie...(and her great mommy!)

One happy family!

Ali & Pete

What a day! Despite crazy rain storms and flooding in the AM last Saturday, by the time we did outside pictures after the ceremony the sun came out! Ali & the ladies got ready at her and Pete's new place. The house was pretty empty minus the piles of wedding gifts and new bed in the master bedroom. Julia from Ciao Bella (and childhood friend) created beautiful hairstyles all morning long in the master bath. By the time we left for the church the rain had let up, but it was still looking pretty dark outside. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Krupski, also known to Pete and his 5 siblings as dad. (Happy Fathers Day!) The service was a great time to reflect on God's goodness and how he was bringing Ali & Pete together as man and wife. After family pictures at the church we headed to a nearby park where we had some fun. The reception was at the Hilton North, which pulled off a great event. Their were tons of young people and the dance floor was packed until the very last song. The newlyweds should be coming home from their Sandals honeymoon soon. (seems to be the place to go this year!) Much love and best wishes to the newest Mr. & Mrs.!

Our Anniversary!

2 Years ago today Tim and I were married! In memory of such a great day I wanted to share a few images with my blog readers. Since I get to be a part of so many couples' weddings, I figure it's only fair to share part of ours. These pictures were taken by Manuel Crispin of Photo Palma and were edited by me. Enjoy. (does 2 years mean we're not newlyweds anymore? NO WAY!)

Seeing each other.
