On my weekend of fun with Kiera to shoot Kirsten and Drew's wedding in Michigan, we split up the trip by staying Friday night with her college friends. It was fun to get a little taste of "lake life". In the morning we had a photo shoot around their lakehouse where they spend a lot of time in the summer. Their son Milo, has a cousin Maggie who is very close in age and I'm sure will some day look back at these images and remember all the fun they had together at the lake in the summers. What a great thing to have such precious time together as a family.
I love this little guy and how much of his parents I can see in him at only 4 months old! He has the best little expressions and they just cracked me up. (check out his eyebrows!) This baby is loved so well by his parents. They are good friends of ours and it's been neat to see them transition into this new stage of life. On to his baby cuteness...
While I don't shoot senior pictures, the exception is made for my family. My cousin Adam, who will be graduating from Columbus East high school this year, made the trip to Indy for his senior session. He's staying busy this year managing the awesome football team, working at the DQ and keeping on top of schoolwork. He's likely heading off to Purdue next year, his parents alma mater and where his older brother Eric is currently at. Random note about Adam, he has the best microwave cooking skills I know. He will be able to wow the ladies making delicious dinners in his dorm room microwave. I've been lucky enough to sample some of his new recipes at family gatherings over the years. Enjoy being a senior Adam! (and I feel really old because I remember being at your parents wedding, and really that was my first memory of a wedding and how magical it seemed)
Kaleena and Eli had an amazing wedding that I was fortunate to photograph for them in the spring of 2008. Well these high school sweethearts are expecting their first addition to their family later this month! I was so excited to do these pictures for them, as it's always great to catch up with past couples. Kaleena has to be the cutest pregnant person ever, seriously! She rocked the camera with baby belly and heels.
Even though it was quite hot and very sunny, we had a great shoot. After all that hard work we all enjoyed some milk shake deliciousness from 96th Street Steakburgers. If you haven't had one of their shakes, you're missing out on something great!
Best wishes as these two embark on the journey of parenthood with their little guy!
So the little cutie you saw on the blog last week had his official newborn shoot yesterday. Eli is one adorable baby, I'm so excited to watch him grow. Steph and Adam have already transitioned into parenthood pretty seamlessly. Adam was a big football player and had a special request to have Eli in his helmet. Surprisingly he just fit and really liked how snuggly it was.
An exciting update about my brother and sister in law, they are at the hospital right now. Everyone is hoping that their sweet baby girl will arrive by the end of the day!
