6507 Open House

6507 Ferguson is the new home of Megelaine Images! This past weekend we moved in and have been working hard to get everything settled here this week. You are all invited to stop by this Friday from 5-9pm to check it out. Also on Friday is the spring Broad Ripple Gallery Tour, so you can enjoy a whole evening of fun in the village.

Feel free to stop by and see what this new space has to offer my clients; past, present and future. Parking is available next to the BrewPub and on Ferguson Street (a one way south). The main entrance is off of the larger parking lot, look for the red balloons.

I'm looking forward to see friends old and new and sharing the excitement of this milestone.

Wedding Photojournalist Association

I was happy to get my official note this week that I have been accepted into the WPJA. It is something I have thought about doing for several years. As my style have grown as a photographer, I have realized my strengths lie in capturing the moments, feelings and wedding day as it happens. My love for photojournalism began when I worked as a designated candid shooter for a lead photographer over several years. I love being able to tell a story with images.

My wish is for my couples to look at their pictures, 5, 10, 25 and 50 years down the road and to be able to relieve those moments and feelings, not just how gorgeous and fabulous they looked.

I will continue to photograph in a way that shows that love is beautiful.

Baby Chasteen

It's always exciting for me to hear and see of my past clients growing their families. I wanted to say a special welcome to little Elly Chasteen who was born earlier this week to Stephanie and Brandon who were married in December of 2006. They had a beautiful brunch wedding celebration at the Omni downtown. Brandon is serving our country overseas so he is home for a few weeks to celebrate and share in this joyous time and then head back to finish out his tour through the fall. The sacrifices our service men and women make are so huge and we could never thank them enough. Congrats to the new parents!
