Extreme Home Makeover - Braveheart March

What an awesome day! This morning I had the unique opportunity to take photos at the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project site in Indianapolis. On Saturday, the design team surprised the McFarland Family, who will spend the next week in Paris while they get a brand new house! Check out some cool pics of the family finding out from fellow Indy photographer, Jamie Sangar.

The weather was sour, but that didn't dampen the spirit's of the hundreds of volunteers that showed up. When we got near the project site, it was too wet to stand outside, and a local church invited everyone inside while we waited to start. The coolest thing happened because church just kept right on going. By the end, the whole place was clapping and singing!

I'm really excited to have the opportunity to go back to the site a couple of times later this week, so be sure to stop back in!

Wow! I've watched this on TV for so long. It's wonderful to have them in our city. Megan, you always step up when the door opens. I loved viewing your photos of the happenings on Sunday - not a coincidence,I'm sure. God bless your week, your efforts, and your pics.

That's so awesome, Megan! Eli and I are HUGE fans of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It's so exciting that they helped a family in Indianapolis. I look forward to seeing the episode and the rest of your photos.
